Camp Read 2025

Camp Read for KIDS 2025 was a huge success, maybe the best ever. With over 100 students and over 40 teachers and volunteers the Campers got a great kickstart to the new school year.

This year’s Camp was held at GateWay Church in Visalia and we want to thank them for their generosity of hosting our camp and for their fantastic staff for helping the camp run smoothly. Not only did the students work on certain skills such as reading and phonics, but they also were able to learn about 5 heroes of the Bible: Noah, Jonah, Moses, Esther, and Paul.

Thanks to the generous donations from friends of Camp Read, at the end of the week each student chose 2-3 books to take home for their own personal libraries as well as a brand new NIV Adventure Bible. The end to a great week for everyone.
